Over the last 25 years John Pittard has developed techniques of lateral and medial extensions and elevation for correcting deviations in the legs of foals. In 1991 he was employed by Arrowfield Stud (Scone, NSW) to oversee the development of foals and he was able to fully explore his speciality of problem leg deviations in foals. During this time Arrowfield produced the top selling yearling at the Sydney Easter Sales (Australia's premier sale) on four occasions.
John employs a team of farriers and he continues to be hands on with his speciality of correcting problems be it foals, weanlings, yearlings, race horses, mares or stallions.
